It will also highlight inspiring stories of those who have triumphed over these hardships. The issue is inspired by an upcoming book by The Times op-ed columnist Nicholas Kristof and his wife, journalist Sheryl WuDunn, "Half the Sky: From Oppression to Opportunity for Women Worldwide."
