Live Your Dream Award   

Soroptimist International (SI) Phoenix will be accepting applications for the 2022 Live Your Dream Award program, July 15th to November 15th.  The award program was established in 1972 to assist women heads of household in obtaining skills training and education necessary to improve their employment status and standard of living for themselves and their family.  Each year Soroptimist clubs in 21 countries and territories assist women by awarding 1 to 3 winners. 

Applications for the award program will be accepted July 1st, 2022 through November 15th, 2022.  To apply you must complete the ONLINE application form and have two references (not family members).  You can click the following link to complete the documents: Online LYDA application.  After you put in your zip code, choose the Phoenix club so we get your application!  Email question to  lyda@siphx.org or click on Contact Us for more information.  

LYDA is Soroptimist’s major service project.  To be eligible, winners must be women who provide primary support for their families, and who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or undergraduate degree program.   Applicants may apply for this award from only one Soroptimist club.   

The 2021-2022 award cycle is closed now.  Applications are being reviewed for award.
